Winter Bark

One day, I decided to go on a hike. Before I had even started, I came across this tree. I loved how the bark flowed in in zig zags, and how the seam in the middle added an intriguing depth, so I snapped this photo. It serves as a reminder to me that beauty and nature are not always in obscure, descolate places. They can be right outside of your doorstep.
