Festivities of Scale

Every year the Mormon Temple nearby my house puts on a magnificent display of Christmas lights wrapped around their palm trees. Though the Temple had not changed its display, this year a newfound fascination of it grew within me, and I knew that I had to photograph it. Bringing my family along with me, I set out on a mission to do the spectacle justice. Setting my camera up on one of the viewing bridges, I managed to take this photo within the 20-minute window I had. I hope I was able to capture the magnificence that one experienes when visiting the Temple during the holiday season.
